Supervised Driving Log

Parents or guardians are responsible for making certain that their teen has completed no less than 50 hours of supervised driving, 10 of which are nighttime hours. The 50 hours can be completed with a driving school or any other supervising driver over the age of 18. The following log is a tool for your convenience that will help you keep track of time spent on the road and will ensure that your teen has a diverse supervised driving experience. You want your teen to be as prepared as possible for their Intermediate License.

In addition to this tool, parents must complete the Behind-the-Wheel Driving Certification form. Forms are available at your local Exam Station or on our website. Please visit the WYDOT Driver Services page at www.dot.state.wy.us/ for more information.

Or you can print and fill out a driving log here

GDL systems

Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) systems are intended to provide teen drivers with practice under the safest conditions, exposing them to more situations only as their skills and experience grow.
